Install the plugin on the new site and enter the same key. The license covers unlimited sites, client sites included, so there is no activation count to watch and nothing to free up before you add another.
What one license covers
Every WordPress site you install the plugin on, with updates and support for the paid year. Client sites count the same as your own. The license terms on the pricing page are the full statement.
Add a site
- Download the current zip from your account, or copy the zip you already have.
- Install and activate it on the new site as in Install WP Visibility.
- In WP Visibility → Settings → License, paste the same key and click Activate.
Each site checks the key against your account on its own and records the site’s address there. That record is a support signal, so we can see which sites a key is used on when you write in. It is not a limit and nothing is refused because of it.
Keys, staging and clones
A staging copy or a local clone can hold the same key. If you copy a site’s database to a new address, the key comes with it and keeps working; there is nothing to reset.
Activation is rate limited per network address. A burst of attempts from one server returns “Too many activation attempts. Please try again later.” Wait an hour and try again; the key is not affected.
When the year ends
The license renews once a year until you cancel. If renewal fails or you cancel, the key stops validating at the end of the paid year: every site keeps working with every feature, and updates stop. Renew from Manage billing on your account page to resume them.
Doing it from the command line
On each site:
wp visibility license activate WPV-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXYou can also define WPVISIBILITY_LICENSE in wp-config.php and run wp visibility license activate with no key, which is convenient when the same configuration file is deployed to many sites.
