Install WP Visibility and Enter the License Key

Download the plugin from your account, install it like any other plugin, and activate the license so updates arrive.

Download the zip from your account, upload it on the Plugins screen, activate it, then paste your license key into WP Visibility → Settings. The whole thing takes about two minutes, and nothing changes on your public pages until you decide it should.

Before you start

WP Visibility needs WordPress 7.0 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer. If you are not sure what you are running, open Tools → Site Health → Info: the WordPress section shows the core version and the Server section shows PHP. On an older version the plugin installs but stays idle, and says so.

If you are replacing Yoast, Rank Math or SEOPress, install WP Visibility alongside the old plugin first and run the import before deactivating it. The import guides are on the docs index.

Install

  1. Log in to your account and download the plugin zip.
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the zip, click Install Now, then Activate.

A WP Visibility entry appears in the admin menu with one item, Settings. Two more appear later as you turn their modules on: Redirects with the Redirects module and Review queue with the Autopilot module. Only administrators see the menu.

Enter the license key

  1. Open WP Visibility → Settings and find the License section. The settings page is one searchable screen; typing “license” in the search box filters to it.
  2. Paste the key from your account into License key and click Activate.

The badge beside the button tells you what happened:

Badge Meaning
Active The key is valid. A Renews: date appears when one is known.
Invalid The server rejected the key. Check for a missing character, or copy it again from your account.
Could not verify The activation server could not be reached. The plugin keeps working; try again in a few minutes.

The key unlocks updates. Features are never locked: a missing or expired key only means updates stop arriving. With an active key, updates show on the Plugins screen like any other plugin.

From the command line, the same step is:

What happens next

A Get started checklist at the top of the settings screen walks the three setup steps: enter your license, connect your AI assistant, and turn on Autopilot review. It tracks itself and disappears when the steps are done; Hide this dismisses it early.

On a fresh install the plugin renders titles, descriptions, canonicals, Open Graph tags, an XML sitemap and structured data from sensible defaults. Review the Titles and meta section before you look at anything else; that is where most sites want one change.
